The elongated heavy receiver has a edge to lip distance of 1.41" if your mouth piece deviates from the standard Morse taper in less than 1.41" you will not be able to insert it properly. This applies to a small percentage of mouthpieces and is easily accommodated by your local repair person trimming the "fatter" section to the Morse Taper.
